    I skimmed the article.

    The complaints here seem to be for behavior that is not exactly secret in the entire drug & medical supply business community.

    They clamped down somewhat on drug reps in the early 2000s. People in my pharmacy residency used to get plenty of stuff like trips & free box seats to concerts & sporting events from the drug companies. That all went away the year I started in 2002. The drug companies weren’t even allowed to give out free pens in the hospital anymore.

    Surgical supplies & medical products are still pretty Wild West in their marketing tactics, however.
