01·3 年前Oh dear…
First that name. Oh my word. Just no.
Second, pretty much directly encouraging piracy. Just… That’s also a hard no.
Sorry, while the technological concept is interesting for games that don’t have a restrictive license, between a lack of forethought regarding the name and the outright condonment of piracy, I’m gonna have to stay away. If these issues are readdressed in the future, it my be worth re-examining

1·3 年前In that case, assuming I read you correctly, I have to disagree. Privacy and security companies cannot rely on advertising or telemetry to be profitable; doing so is counter and paradoxical to their standing as a security/privacy company.
Bitwarden seems to be doing just fine. 1Password should be taking cues from them, not advertising revenue

0·3 年前Being honest, its really hard for me to buy a pop_os laptop when the framework laptop exists. Being able to have that level of customizability and self repair options are just too good to pass up.
Suggestion: perhaps pop_os could collab with framework to make a pop_os laptop that is far more customizable and repairable than what is currently available

1·3 年前Nah. Its just a tried and true step of enshitification. Fingers crossed that bitwarden is already profitable so we still have a good cloud password manager…

This looks fantastic. Thanks for the link!
