Hochul has been at campaign events with Mamdani within just the past several days, it doesn’t really look like she is distancing herself from him when you can find them literally on a stage together. I do agree about Jeffries, I think he is trying to be strategic because of his role in the House, but he sucks too much to pull it off so instead he just looks like an ass. If he was a better politician he could have threaded the needle. In some ways his non-endorsement may have ultimately benefited Mamdani, Democratic leadership is very unpopular right now and having obvious disagreement within the party over Mamdani validates his outsider image.

Grey Poupon is not fancy mustard. You can buy that shit in any grocery store, it was developed by food scientists and is mass produced in giant semi-automated factories. It’s also not particularly expensive. If you can only afford yellow mustard but not Grey Poupon you shouldn’t be buying any mustard because your budget is way too tight to be paying for condiments you can get free in a fast food restaurant.

I’m not following. Whether or not drugs are onboard is irrelevant. Even if they can definitively prove drugs are onboard, it is still a crime for the US military to kill these people. This is categorically an illegitimate use of force. The only possible justification for this is if these boats were armed and posed an imminent threat, which obviously is not applicable.

At least some of them may have drugs. It doesn’t matter though because even with illegal drugs aboard these boats are still not legitimate military targets. These attacks by the US military are inherently criminal.

If you take part of the guys statement and ignore the rest of it, and fixate on him not using the precise words “stand up”, I guess I can understand what you are getting at. But in context, he seems to be expressing the exact opposite of what you are claiming.

I think it is more a common American mentality that he embodies rather than a lifestyle. His actual lifestyle is completely alien to most humans.

Subverting legal orders is obviously illegal and you can’t have a valid legal contract which obligates one party to engage in illegal actions. Whatever is going on here is very odd, it’s surprising only Microsoft’s lawyers were willing to veto a deal over this. Pre-agreeing to send secret signals hidden from law enforcement like this is exactly the kind of thing that should be raising major red flags that you are entering into a criminal conspiracy rather than a legitimate contract.

That NYT article on the relationship between JP Morgan and Epstein was completely damning. JP Morgan executives intentionally subverted bank oversight processes which repeatedly flagged Epstein, with the knowledge that Epstein was engaging in crime and that they were facilitating those crimes. They decided that the risk was worth it. At least one of the JP Morgan executives involved raped an Epstein victim, he admitted it under oath. It looks very likely that JP Morgan executives and former executives are going to be heavily implicated if the Epstein files ever get released.

Marines getting dumb ass tattoos while drunk in a foreign country is a story as old as time. He definitely used to be a moron, getting a tattoo under those circumstances was obviously a terrible decision.

Intent matters. Did he knowingly choose a Nazi tattoo? All of the evidence suggests he did not, and that as soon as he found out it was associated with Nazis he immediately took action to get rid of it.
