You can install PlayStore apps from the App Lounge which connects anonymously. Most apps simply work, always depends on what you use. Apps such as Plexus or Sapio can be used to see if apps work

I use /e/OS on my Fairphone 3+ since more than 3 years and can only recommend it!

1·11 months agoMan braucht die Erweiterung nicht, sie hilft nur Videos/Kanäle zu entdecken.
Peertube hat diese Vorteile und erfüllt heute schon die meisten Punkte.
Ich verwende Peertube seit über einem Jahr und hatte noch nie Probleme, würde ich als stable bezeichnen
Lieber Genosse, dann einfach beginnen auf Peertube zu schauen. Dieses Plugin kann dabei behilflich sein.
Punkt 1, 2, 3 und 5 sind schon mal erfüllt
Genau und da es ein Teil vom Fediverse ist, kannst du Peertube Videos auch von z.B. einem Mastodon Account folgen/liken
Peertube hat einen automatischen Importer von YouTube. Und ja, entweder Werbung und Überwachung für gratis Content oder wir bezahlen endlich für unsere Journalisten, Entertainer und Künstler

Leider wird dort noch eher wenig veröffentlicht, wird aber immer mehr. Heise hat z.B. gerade ihre eigene Instanz gestartet.
3·1 year agoI got /e/OS installed in my Fairphone 3 developped by Murena. They got a built-in OS level tracker blocker for apps. So not just ads in my browser, but all ads + tracker in all apps installed on my phone. This month alone it blocked 28432 trackers! We live is a crazy world… not only do I save internet bandwidth, but also my battery lasts longer
