A century ago, there were two distinct domains: Nature and Society. Now there’s just one: The Fediverse.

Upvoted, it’s ducked and Rheinmetal is a literal Nazi Germany company who made weapons that killed the allies of our grandparents’ generation. But let’s be honest: Are we not? This is what European politicians are moving towards now. Push tax money to military spending, get more nukes, redirect research into “dual use” applications, while the cuts in social programs and privatization are just an added bonus. Would be a shame to let all the information warfare that has gone into creating external enemies go to waste, now is the time to capitalize.

Unite for rearmament, cuts in social spending and nuclear proliferation. And never mind the disinformation from diplomats and so called polsci experts saying that Russia had legitimate security concerns after US involvement in Maidan and NATO training Ukrainian troops since then. Forget what you’ve heard about how Nazi Germany used Ukraine as a launch pad for invading Russia and how in 2019 the Rand corporation dusted off that old strategy. Cover your ears for the well spoken poison, don’t believe your lying eyes. It was they who blew up their own pipeline and main asset towards Europe. Sure the US is bad now, but it was oh so good before Trump. Von der Leyen is of the people and fixing things for working class Europeans. And the Baltics are of course level headed, a kind of political avant garde for the continent. It’s like Stoltenberg said: peace through war. European unity now, never mind the missing clothes!

  • Did you know that Norway, Sweden, and Denmark all have laws against hate speech, harassment, and discriminatory expressions targeting protected groups. For instance, Norwegian law prohibits public statements that threaten or insult someone, or promote hatred based on factors like ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. At the same time they consistently top indices like the Reporters Without Borders’ World Press Freedom index. I’m not saying that your comment is threatening or anything, but it doesn’t seem very important to me to protect the right of someone to use a crude derogatory like “tankie” (a word with parallels to terms like “pinko” and “judeo Bolshevik”).

  • Could you perhaps share any authors, works, blogs or whatever in English that critique Chinese politics in the manner you’re describing?

Edit: Let me rephrase after having done some searching. If Marxists wanted non-Chinese government and non-CIA funded information about the conditions and struggles of Chinese workers, where would be a good place to find it?
