I use all of them, as long as people I know or care about use them.

X-Duckx, it’s a French cartoon about two ducks doing extreme sports, there is a German dubbed version that’s pretty legendary even though it only ran for a couple years on German TV

more like a revival of early internet aesthetics, i.e. shitty 3D graphics, low quality digital images, and WordArt from the late 1990s

I had a similar experience with OOT, never owned an N64 but finally played it 2 years ago on PC. IMO the gameplay just isn’t very good by today’s standards, yet it was very innovative for its time. Some of my friends who played it in the 90s when they were young still love that game.

Not drinking alcohol when I’m alone or not in a good place mentally. And yes, this can be hard depending on the social circle.

idk, Mastodon has official apps for iOS and I think also more users

Video game programming, because I’ve been doing that for more than 20 years.

I don’t get it, what does “pause payments” mean, who stops paying whom and how much money are we talking about?

Chinese food! More specifically, Sichuan and Northwestern style food.
I don’t need to pick a second one.

there is no such thing as an EU-US trade agreement
Maybe this? https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/qanda_25_1930

It should be possible to buy frozen durian in Germany, in asian supermarkets. Not sure if that’s an option.
Nicht vergessen, es gab 2019 die Ibiza-Affäre und viele FPÖ-Stimmen sind 2020 deshalb zur ÖVP gegangen.

I had such high hopes back in 2018, I think France was pushing for it. Now 7 years later with still no progress I think the best bet is to move to China, India, Russia or Hawaii, or any African country except Egypt. Or South America except Chile. You see the overwhelming majority of people in the world don’t have the DST bullshit.
Yes, exactly. The comic was published on October 13, 2008, according to Explain XKCD, that’s probably why iTunes is in it.

True, but let’s imagine newer Kindle devices or apps won’t allow you to read the previously downloaded files anymore? And I’m aware DeDRM exists, but so do DRM-free book shops. It’s not like I was okay to buy books from Amazon before, but now that they are getting rid of the download option, I will suddenly look for alternatives.

Some uh people I know are doing that, yeah. Wouldn’t that violate ToS though? I’m sure even without direct downloads, there will be ways to pirate Amazon books. I mean last time I checked, Netflix didn’t let me download the video files but that doesn’t keep people from pirating the content.
I discussed this recently with a friend. Commercial gambling, e.g. slot machines, online poker, F2P mobile games, sports betting, etc. seems like exploitation of weak people. These products are carefully optimized for return of investment, which always means nudging people to play more, even if it’s bad for them. This book is pretty good: Addiction by Design - Machine Gambling in Las Vegas
