i would much prefer people who did horrible things to change their ways, and work towards healing the world rather than kill themselves

ok, leave i suppose, if you dont want to stay. i hope that you will learn to give more care and empathy to the people around you. it is not blind obedience to accomodate others, especially when it comes at no personal cost. just trust them, even if you don’t understand it.
marking the post as nsfw would have taken you seconds, but instead you wrote multiple long comments ranting against it.
i think the logic is, that when someone fells something is not safe for work, they will either mark it as such or request that it be marked as such. as i said, you don’t have to justify that you did not think of it. you didn’t know in advance and you are not expected to. all that is expected, is that when asked, you will mark your post as nsfw. just accommodate for the unique needs of the unique people around you, when it comes up.
so please dont delete your posts or stop posting, just mark your posts as nsfw when asked to and everything is fine :3
hey, its ok. no one is mad at you. you dont need to defend or justify that you didnt think about it yourself. you can just tag the post and everyone will be happy. no harm done :)
hii, please do not let lemmy comments form your understanding of anarchism. it seems that gave you some wrong ideas. anarchists are not naive or idealistic about people and hierarchical structures.
if you want to learn about anarchism, i can recommend a few video essays which might give you a better understanding of anarchism and might answer your criticism.
- an introduction to anarchism - anark
- human nature - anark
- how would anarchism defend itself? - anark
(full disclosure, i havent watched these videos in a while, and mostly picked them, because i vaguely remember them talking about the topics you mentioned)
all of these videos are by the same person. i think they make some of the best videos about anarchist theory that i know, (and videos are a easy way to get into new things), while also being active on the ground as an anarchist organiser, being able to measure their ideas against their lived reality. i hope you will consider what they have to say
take care :3
there is a lot to critizise about crypto currencies (especially those which require a lot of resources), and the cultures around them, but i firmely believe only someone who has the luxury to not need things from black/grey markets to live, could completely dismiss them. states and banks are not our friends. we cant rely on their systems.
why is it that all fictional alien species have sexual dimorphism and a binary gender system?
i dont actually know how exactly it works. my qr generator app just has an option for it.
qr scanner (free software and receiving regular updates btw) makes me check a box, that i have read the link, before even alowing me to open it (vewy safe)

AskTransgender@lemmy.blahaj.zone•When did you realize you were trans? What were the signs before you realized?English
8·2 months agoi think when i got into collage, but maybe before that already, i started to feel uncomfortable about being a man. i didnt like the way i looked and how i failed at masculine beauty standards. i had learned about patriarchy and it made me not want to be a man and especially not want to be perceived as one because that felt like being perceived as a monster.
i also learned about femboys at around that time. i realised that honestly i would much rather be like them, but they also cracked my ideas about gender and sexuality a good amount, cause if men can look like women, then how does gender make any sense?
i started watching (trans) bread tubers talk about post modern ideas of gender and gender being a social construct. that made me realise that gender is fake and that it only restricts me and forces me to conform to norms and that it upholds injustice and that it really makes me unhappy.
so i rejected gender and now i’m a happy androgynous it/its blob, living with my cutie nonbinary partner, still struggling with internalised fatphobia and transpobia but ultimately more free and at peace than i ever was :3
i would probably frame it about horizontality/non-hierarchy instead, to make it more universal :3

i just checked and aparently it was Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir of iceland in 2013, altho technically they were prime minister, not president. the first president would have been Edgars Rinkēvičs in 2023… which is after trumps first presidency.
of course these are only the first openly gay ones. while looking into this i saw that james buchanas in 1844 was the first known gay us president, altho they were closeted. still, they are beating trump in that competition.
altho iirc clinton was a presiden as well? so if trump gave clinton head, then clinton was a gay president before trump… unless its not gay to receive head?
the list of openly gay heads of states is really short btw and well… only starts in 2013. im no one for girlbossing, but this is both quite sad and a positive sign for increasing queer acceptance. let’s hope with gay president trump this will get even better
