11·2 months agoLike Apple? Not trying to sound snarky, but they wouldn’t be the first or only ones.
I think I remember a youtube guy doing exactly what you have in mind, let me try to find it
Edit: found it: https://youtu.be/BAuDqnGpT4g

4·6 months agoAFAIK you don’t need the remote, there’s a combination of turning the bulbs on/off a couple of times to reset them, and then you can add them using touchlink. The process is a bit tedious, but it works.
Funny you mention mountains, Monterrey has tons of them, and although they have no snow on them, it’s a great place to go if you like the climbing or hiking type of eco-tourism.

Looks great, I did a very similar upgrade about 1.5years ago, also from 7600K to 5600 (non-x). I kept my Vega64 GPU. Runs smoothly for my needs (some light 3D modeling in Blender and light gaming: The Forest 2, RDR2, even HL: Alyx on the Index runs fine). It was almost 2x as expensive than yours back then, but I also went for an SFF build with a B550i.
They just released zigbee relays

273·2 years agoWhile it isn’t surprising in Mexico, it is also not surprising from any other country either. Not sure what’s the point of singling it out.

Ngl I thought it was a joke about bedbugs, kafka never crossed my mind til I read the comments.

homeassistant@lemmy.world•Remote access possible via HomeKit integration?English
1·2 years agoUpdate: It works! I get all notifications from my sensors and it’s working great. Thanks everyone!
For future reference, my setup:
HASS OS running on an SSD (Kingston A2000 250GB) connected to a RaspberryPi 4B 4GB
And an addendum: If anyone is having trouble migrating their Zigbee devices from Homebridge to Home Assistant, what helped me was unplugging all previous zigbee router devices before setting up the new Zigbee network, otherwise the coordinator wouldn’t start or some weird issue would pop up during setup. After disconnecting the router devices I was able to start the coordinator, and add the routers again to the new network.

1·3 years agoAh, good to know someone with a similar setup! I have some Homepod minis, so siri does get some usage. Did you by chance also migrated from Homebridge to HA? I would have some questions about how to migrate zigbee devices from homebridge to HA… 😅

1·3 years agoI guess I’ll give it a try at least, that would solve my problem somehow.

2·3 years agoI am aware of the service, but I don’t want yet another subscription if I can avoid it. I am happy to donate to the HA team, but I’m slowly but surely moving away from subs. I will eventually get rid of HomeKit and in general the whole Apple ecosystem if I can sufficiently satisfy my needs with self-hosted services.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t get WatchOS 11. In fact, I think the Series 4 and 5 will be considered obsolete next year since they are using basically the same SiP.

Also am Apple TV man kann es so einstellen, sodass du immer dein Passwort brauchst, wenn du etwas kaufen möchtest. Sogar beim Apps runterladen.
