Tram Bowling is heel grappig (Er staan 5 gigantische kegels op de baan en een paar meter ervoor ligt een enorme bal, en met de tram moet je voldoende vaart maken om met die bal die kegels omver te werpen, en op tijd weer stoppen zodat je met je tram de kegels niet raakt). Een ander onderdeel is Precisie Stoppen, en dat schijnt toch nog heel lastig te zijn (Er ligt bij een halte een plaat met punten van 0 tot 500 terug naar 0 en in de tram in het midden van de voorste deur ligt een pijl op de grond, en je moet zo precies mogelijk stoppen om zoveel mogelijk punten te krijgen)

Ook heb je een hindernis waarbij je heel rustig moet optrekken en 3 keer moet stoppen, waarbij er voorop de tram een bak met water is aangebracht, en bij die manoeuvre moet je zoveel mogelijk water in die bak zien te houden.

En er zijn nog een aantal andere elementen in de wedstrijd, zoals juist kunnen inschatten hoe breed je tram is; blind de juiste snelheid zien te krijgen.

Altijd maar weer de minima raken… belachelijk. Ga het eens halen bij de groot verdieners?!

Ik heb een paar jaar geleden de Europese Kampioenschappen Trambestuurder (TramEM) gevonden op youtube, en vond dat waanzinnig interessant om te zien, en om te zien hoeveel publiek op komt dagen om die trambestuurders toe te juichen. Vorig jaar was het zelfs een wereldkampioenschap.

En onlangs zag ik dat er een Nederlandse trambestuurder ook video’s op youtube deelt.

Mijn beroep is, denk ik, niet mediageniek genoeg om interessant te zijn. Je zou dan alleen maar een dikkige nerd achter een pc zien zitten, die op schermpjes klikt en af en toe een notitie maakt.

As far as I know nobody considers liberals far right. They’re just not leftwing.
And most Democrats and pretty much all of Labour are centrists too.

Whereas MAGA rightwingers and Reform UK followers tend to believe that liberals are leftwing and that the Democrats/Labour are the harbingers of communism.

The world is not black and white, but there are people who are far right. Based on their politics, their identity and the ways they express themselves.

If you agree with most of Reform UK’s policies, you’re on the spectrum pretty far on the right, that’s just a political fact. But it seems it’s almost worse to get called far right than it is to be far right.

If you largely agree with MAGA, you’re also far right.

But it’s also a fact that the Labour party in the UK, and most members of the DNC in the US are political centrists.

Sure mayor Mamdani in NYC is further on the left. Bernie Sanders also. You could even argue that Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is further to the left,not quite to the level of socialism, but at least Social Democrats.

But Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Keir Starmer? No, they’re nothing like far left. They’re not bringing in socialist values, let alone communist ones. They’re firmly in the center.

That’s what this meme is saying and what I am saying.
