Pardon me, pass uses GNU PGP. I got that mixed up!

GNU Pass, has been the best one so far. Set up your own git to sync it to all devices.
And thanks to the magic of downgrading a package, the issue is resolved within minutes. If any update breaks something, which never happened in 3 years of desktop usage and 2 years of server usage so far, you can just downgrade the package, to the previous version, ignore the upgrade and take some time to understand what breaks. But I understand, why this might be too much maintenance for some people, and they rather pay with their freedom, and let other people take care of their system. But for me, that is not what using Linux is about.
Never had any problems like that with Archlinux. Literally one command, and all your video drivers are installed. And using a minimal kernel is not really a archlinux thing, since it isnt supported.
Japan also did it! Everybody has to do that at some point, it’s fun.
China doesn’t do everything wrong, but you gotta weight positive versus negative achievements here. Lots of my Chinese friends came to Europe for their PhD and stayed for a reason. My Chinese wife came to Europe for a reason.
Thanks, my SCHUFA score is actually pretty good! If you believe China does not have such a scoring system, you are not only dumb but also naive.

uses a Chinese source … Of course, China does nothing wrong! Who decided that? Of course a Chinese committee
Imagine spending all day defending China and Russia online. Are you even Chinese? If so, maybe you should leave for a while, and see how the world is behind the great firewall
Ay dude, you are really a chinese bot, arnt you? So much astroturfing, don’t ya got any hobbies, expect licking Xijingpings dick, online everyday?

Arch Linux@lemmy.ml•I wrote a Guide on how to install Arch Linux with BTRFS and (almost) Full Disk encrytion
4·3 years agoHonestly, the best thing I learned was:
Need to fix your system through the install medium? Save yourself keystrokes of mounting by just mounting the root subvolume (to /mnt) and then type: mount -aT /mnt/etc/fstab --target-prefix /mnt. This reads your fstab and mounts everything for you.Thank you so much for it :D
I am using it, as an “IDE” for everything.
I think you are doing nothing wrong with choosing Lunarvim. Anyway, If you ever are unhappy with it, you can pretty much just create your own neovim config.
It’s got a pretty good community, you always find some help online. It comes per default only with “needed” plugins, which makes it a pretty nice IDE already. If you ever need more plugins, it’s also not complicated to install them,
Lunarvim
