I want someone to make a slow charger with PPS to compare them. My phone on a “slow charger” gets about as hot as when I use a fast charger with PPS. But a fast charger without PPS and it gets extremely hot and slows down charging a lot. Especially when I leave it on my bed. That definitely is not good for it’s health. They charged their phones in little stands which gets them plenty of airflow to keep them cool.

It looks like the iPhone 12 doesn’t support PPS. Fast charging could be even better if they used a device that supports it.

Biggest thing is it’s not going to be optically clear. So if the area is still visible then you’re losing that area. Also it’s probably going to fuck with the digitizer and it’s going to think you’re permanently touching that area.

I’d just buy some el cheapo screen protector and put that over it.

Also what kind of kit does op have? A sim card ejector, a metal brush, a q tip thing, half a zip tie, and some adhesive things? Any thin plastic shim will work perfectly, and sometimes even a stiff plastic bristle brush works well.

If you plug the drive into the last m.2 slot which is on the chipset you’ll most likely lose some functionality (sata ports, usb, etc). What gets lost depends on your board. The m.2 slots connected straight to your CPU are also generally faster than the chipset ones.

12th gen Intel is the last to support OG standby. 13th gen and up are S0 standby only. AMD gave up on S1-3 standby even earlier.

ThinkPads with 12 gen CPUs support the good standby if you want a nice machine with it.

Touchpads are hard. Well good touchpads are hard. Especially small ones. Just look at laptops. Besides Apple it took like 20 years for them to get good. And even then they still suck randomly.

If it’s a prebuilt and it’s the SSD that’s the problem then taking out the SSD probably won’t be an option. OP never said what PC it is, but I know some manufacturers will be ok with shipping just the ssd. Assuming you can narrow it down to just the SSD.

IDK OP, just contact their support and see what they say to diagnose it. Just wipe the drive before you send it off. They’re not going to do data recovery on your SSD just to decline the warranty, it’s not worth their time or money. They’re just going to replace it.

As long as you’re not gaming any modern iGPU is more than enough for desktop tasks.
