How do you provide evidence you didn’t use something???
I’ll give you one more guess…

Can only speak for the UK but as the lowest civil court here, small claims decisions are not binding on any other court (including other small claims courts) but they are considered “pervasive” and thus a judge should be aware and take them into consideration.

He said he was UK based… 100% unenforceable, an employment tribunal wouldn’t even bother hearing it

Did he say he wasn’t reviewing any longer or would now just be a contributor instead of a more active role?
Well in which case you probably won’t believe me but I’ve been using Kagi for a while and am extremely happy with it… no link with the company at all other than a very satisfied user 🤷🏻♂️
You can improve Google a bit using ublacklist but it still wasn’t anywhere as good as Kagi.
I will say Kagi isn’t as good when it comes to looking for local businesses or services… I still use Google for that but you can do that within Kagi with a !g and it anonymises the search

Pronounced “shitter”
If you replaced “company” with “monopoly” in your last sentence, I agree.
Also it depends what’s driving that attitude… if it’s an ethos from Gabe then great but he won’t be around forever… what happens when he dies/retires?
Many companies have started with great ethics that went out of the window when the founders moved on, and Steam is in a fantastic position to enshitify if it wanted to.

Fingers crossed on Larian getting a licence for Traveller…

Thanks, will give it a try!

Best thing about Evernote was its web clipping extensions… anyone use one that’s as good or better…?

Nice generalising there… given all my friends are Android/Windows users I wasn’t trying to show off when I switched over, I just wanted an ecosystem that works when I want to do something… too many times in both Windows and Mint did I have to spend time setting up the system to do something instead of just getting on with it.

Do we have a Fediverse equivalent of Facebook yet…?

Nice ad hominem…
He was also creative director for the original Ultima Online game and Star Wars Galaxies… both awesome and innovative MMOs at the time…

It wasn’t a requirement, they made changes with the intention that it would always take at least two seconds.
The teams just adapted and got better again.

I mean I guess it could happen… so I guess why trust anyone? May as well just switch it all off!

The problem isn’t raising awareness imo, god knows there’s enough information out there constantly… the battle now is getting people to care/believe.
In that respect, my view is that JSOs approach is counterproductive. I support protest around this, but it needs to be better than this.
Depends on the age of your tracks, if you have old Victorian bridges etc or aging signal systems it can be very hard indeed.
(London btw)
