The best part is they havent made a compelling game in 10 years. So i wont buy a game of them ever again either way. Its an easy life tbh.

As someone who watched funnee lets plays of it and also played the game itself 15 years ago: You’ll get the full experience by watching a 10 minute video. Yeah, its funny that this turd made it onto actual store shelves. But there isnt much more to it. Its an utterly broken barely working ‘game’. Had i fun driving really fast backwards and clipping through bridges? Yes, but for like 5 minutes and it wasnt more fun than watching someone else.

Neben Linux kann man sich auch mit der Windows 10 LTSC IOT Edition beschäftigen, die bis 2032 Support hat. Kann man als Normalsterblicher nicht erwerben. Aber mit ‘Massen.grab’ lässt sich das umgehen. Persönlich(!) hätte ich - so rein als Gedankenspiel natürlich - moralisch kein Problem damit. Vielleicht gibts da ein Subreddit (ich weiß den virtuellen Gang dahin wollen wir hier eigentlich vermeiden, aber schnell die Infos abgraben ist IMHO noch drin) dazu der einem dabei hilft.

Offizieller Support von Softwarelösungen welcher Art auch immer und diverse moderne Features werden über die Zeit unter Umständern trotzdem zur Hürde. Aber bis dahin ist das in meinen Augen eine - rein theorethisch natürlich - ganz gute Lösung falls man noch nicht bereit sein sollte für den Wechsel zu Linux. Obs für einen selbst ist oder weil man low-level-tech-support für seine Liebsten leistet.

Ich kann an der Stelle nur sagen, dass die reine Desktop-Erfahrung als Nerd trotz 25 Jahren Windowsnutzung unter Linux inzwischen unfassbar gut ist. Gefällt mir richtig gut. Ich hab leider in der Vergangenheit u.A. ein paar Hardwarekäufe getätigt weswegen ich nicht ganz auf Windows verzichten kann. Was ich damit sagen will. Bevor ihr die Hardware wegschmeißt probiert wenigstens mal Linux Mint aus. Wenn das nicht taugen sollte kann man sich - rein akademisch natürlich - mit Windows 10 LTSC IOT beschäftigen.
