A lot of things changed very quickly for me over the past couple months so I decided I was going to spend new years with friends. And even though it’s over I still am not sure if it was a good idea. They see each other far more than they see me, so I felt very third wheely if that makes sense. Going back home soon though so I can go back to feeling like a unicycle. Lol

About to quit my job of five years for a new one. After how much of a mess the previous months were everything seems to happen to me all at once now. So I’ll roll with it and see where I end up.

Getting over a breakup by trying to keep myself busy and not facing my thoughts much. It’s not healthy I know. I will eventually.

I love lying or sitting and listening to the rain. Ok I also love deliberately walking in the rain if it’s warm enough out. Ok yeah I just like rain apparently. the sound is just so soothing.

I’m beyond sad it’s over. It was amazing. I also got to shake a hyenas paw. It was incredible

They really enjoyed it judging by the purring. They were so incredibly fluffy and gentle. They even licked my hand. Did not expect them to be so chill. I wanted to hug it but was advised not to.

I get to pet cheetahs today. And possibly baby lions. It’s gonna be a fun day I think.

My partners friend, as it turns out, has a pool. With a slide. And not just a small slide. So that’ll be my day. Feel like a child again.

I never got that bit tbh. Where do they think the seniors come from?

Really sorry to hear that. But I feel that way as well at times. You’re not alone. Always have an ear if you ever just wanna vent it something.

The only thing I can think of is that sure sounds less convinced than yes. Sure might mean something more like “ok whatever”. Or at least that’s what I gather from fights with previous partners.

If the community is hosted on the defederated instance then I believe you wouldn’t see that post either. I believe the community instance reposts the post so that it can federate to all subscribed instances. And those might only be known to the instance that hosts the community. So everyone goes through it as a proxy.

No hate. Just disappointment at inaccessibility :) I can’t read the picture. But I can read the text. That’s why.

Fair enough. I also don’t usually like it. I hate things like graphic audio for example. But for some reason KBS just worked for me.

I discovered scuba diving. And I’m off work for another two weeks. It’s a good time.

Love it too. Definitely one of the best litrpgs I’ve read. I was really excited for the audio immersion but sadly I thought the first episode wasn’t quite as good. I listened to Kaiju battlefield surgeon and I imagined it to be like that. And it was, but a lot of small mistakes ended up making it feel a little rushed. KBS was actually really good too. Very enjoyed that one as well. Though I haven’t read the book for that yet, only listened to the cinematic audio.
