Solid take 👍

You mean you aren’t subscribed to the GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH?
LAND OF THE FREE? HOME OF THE BRAVE?
MOST SCHOOL SHOOTINGS PER CAPITA?
Yeah I’m not super versed in retro handhelds, but I’ve seen reviews of products that are not too much more expensive, yet offer like 100x the features and performance. I would imagine the ability to load custom ROMs would be a deal breaker. These review units seem one step away from coming in a cereal box, or as a superhero-themed extra toy you get in a movie theater popcorn combo.

Eh, I think there’s a need for appropriate technology here. Lemmy is inherently a multi-modal platform, with images, links, and text. I like the browser skins and apps that browse Lemmy.
As an educational project or simply for fun I say go for it.

Yeah, not sure how to fix this. Smaller classes maybe?
I’ll give you 50c on the dollar!
In the next 7 days I will get:
I got this.

This is the same logic that keeps coal on life support.

At that point you can take the Hullo ferry as a walk-on and save 2+ hours

I remember this one time I was debating going to the island on either a car, a motorcycle, or by walk-on. The car would have been stupidly expensive, walk on would have taken too long to bus, and the motorcycle seemed perfect. I look online and it’s like $38 ish dollars? So I decide to take the bike. I get there and it’s like $70. I’m like wtf? Apparently they charge for people even if you take a motorcycle on board… Even though you literally cannot take a motorcycle on board without a rider?? I just don’t get this logic. I felt ripped off. Not very clear from the website that this is how it works.

Good for them. Cyberpunk was an excellent game, and the Phantom Liberty expansion was dope. The multiple different endings made the game much more replayable. Some of the endings are some of the saddest in videogames lately.

This article put me in a bad mood. It also didn’t really answer the question, but leaves it up to the reader to interpret the data.
Oh sorry, I didn’t realize this was a shitpost 🤦♂️

One of those canisters is equivalent to burning 178mL of gasoline. Or enough to power an average car for 2km. Most people burn through the equivalent of 30+ of these a day going to work and back.

Yes, I agree on the alcohol tax re. Healthcare costs. However, I ferment my own drinks and I’d like to point out the irony of buying raw ingredients + yeast, vs buying a prepared drink. It’s like you are getting taxed for convenience as a deterrent.

Lol this is just a joke… Food should have always been completely tax free! Two weeks?!? What kind of circus is this?? Is he trying to buy votes for $250/pop? I’m amazed at what they come up with next.

First of all, I agree with almost everything you have said. Trudeau has stated that he wants to keep the price of housing “flat”. I’m sure the NDP can also implement policies to do that if they wanted. Do you think that this is a way to get out of the pyramid scheme? I feel like just because we’ve built the scheme up a lot, it doesn’t mean all hope is lost
Hi. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it that way. People have put a lot of effort into developing Lemmy as both a software and a community, and it wasn’t my intention to devalue anyone’s efforts or say that it’s a lost cause. I think people should continue using Lemmy. This was just literally my stream of consciousness. I’m more upset that the original Reddit is gone and I wanted to highlight how Lemmy is not a perfect replacement.
