The person was talking about 30 miles per hour. So about 50 km/h for normal people.
I can easily believe that front is very deadly at 50.

On the other hand, nobody ever will fix, update, or port many pieces of software if backwards compatibility is expected to be kept up indefinitely.
I’m frankly not sure which is better. Do it the apple way, force projects to make their software work on modern platforms, and just accept that some people will really be fucked over for the sake of progress. Doesn’t sit right with me, but on the other hand things can’t keep being compatible forever.

Nope, my private data wont be on that device.
That’s exactly why we write those policies. To let people know not to put their private shit on the devices.
I never had to open up a phone yet to access any data, and I don’t expect I ever will. Even if I did, I’m not going to snoop around, I’m just going to get the data the company needs.
Yet, I still advise any new employee not to put their private shit on the device.
I have had to delete phones remotely though. Tough luck if your famiz photos are on it, not my problem.
You can remove logos all you like, I still know it’s Vienna ^^

I suspect we might miss rainbow capitalism one day.

Do you have powdered detergent in the UK? Try that. I switched over entirely. You just need to experiment with dosage a little.

Sounds like OP does in fact use condoms with everyone.

Coming from across the big pond, Trump is simply worse though. Not like Biden is a great choice, but Trump is definitely worse.

Hello Melbourneians? Melbourneites? Person from almost the other side of the world here.
How come this community is so active on Lemmy? I haven’t seen any other city pop up on my feed as often as yours. You regularly get more than a hundred comments each day in these discussion threads.

Yeah there’s more to it. I’m just a random cis guy who came across this post on his feed. I’m definitely not an egg, but no way I’d react like that. I’d probably be bewildered that someone would offer me their medicine, but a severe reaction like that sounds very weird.
I have worded my definition of my sexuality badly, you are right. What I am trying to say is that I am not straight if I am not exclusively attracted to “the opposite” gender. If I am also attracted to my own gender, and ones outside the spectrum, I can’t be hetero.
I’m just sick of bi erasure in queer communities, being belittled by being called “half gay, half straight”. Or even “oh you’re just a cishet who wants to fit into queer spaces”.
No. I am bi. Not half this, half that, not pretending. Maybe pan if one wants to follow strict definitions.
I genuinely did not know about people who define themselves as non-binary men or women, could you help me understand? That breaks all I’ve learned from the admittedly few enby people I know, whose entire goal was not being binary.
Look, maybe you didn’t mean to be rude. I choose to believe that you didn’t want to insult people.
Buy you are immensely rude. Denying peoples own definitions of sexuality and gender is rude.
You say that liking enbies makes someone heterosexual. Which is wrong on multiple levels. I as a man can only be heterosexual if I exclusively am attracted to women.
And enbies are not women, even if AFAB. They are neither man nor woman, that’s what makes them non-binary, that’s the point.
Assigning a binary gender to enbys, nice one. I Wil not continue speaking about queer issues with you.
Let’s reserve the word Tankie for actual Tankies. It’s become meaningless if you call every communist that.
Common misconception and many of us don’t like being portrayed that way. We are not half this, half that. We are our own thing.
Many define bi as “attraction to more than one gender” and that’s it.
Many folks like all genders. But for example some folks only like their own gender and enbys. Your definition would exclude those people. We do not like excluding people.
I know you’re joking, but KDE is much more than just a Linux desktop environment. They make all sorts of software working on all sorts of operating systems. I use Kdenlive on windows for example. And 90% of browsers nowadays use a fork of KDEs KHTML rendering engine.
Zumindest bei uns in Österreich haben tatsächlich kirchliche Organisationen zur Demo aufgerufen: https://religion.orf.at/stories/3223283/
I tried it once with some household zipties, I could do it but it did hurt a lot. Dunno if the police use stronger ones, I would assume so.
Alright then, this post motivated me to find out how to block communities. Don’t want to scroll by non nsfw marked softcore porn on the train anymore.
Viennese detected oida.
