Good point. But fortunately Russia won’t invade another country as long as it is still occupied in Ukraine, so all neighbouring countries that wish to remain independent should have applied to NATO by now.
Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were smart to do this years ago, otherwise they would’ve been puppet states like Belarus already, since Putin would love to have a better connection between Kaliningrad and the mainland.
To prevent them from joining NATO.
This is exactly why those countries should join NATO.

5·2 years agoSounds cool in some utopian parallel universe, but as long as there are people willing to take advantage of others it’s not going to work in the real world. Imagine putting a lot of work in your garden and some random crazy person puts up a camping tent in it because they don’t believe in private property? Just get out in 5 minutes or I’ll call the cops.

10·2 years agoThat’s why capitalism in the current state is not sustainable. Too much wealth and power in a small group which limits population growth.
Another open-source tool I’ve been using for years is jdownloader. It surprised me multiple times by being able to more music and video websites than just YouTube https://jdownloader.org/

Movie watching skill issue
Skill issue. Just reading the Wikipedia article on the Manhattan Project would have given you most of the knowledge you need. I watched Oppenheimer and Barbie and liked both for different reasons.

As someone who doesn’t live in tge USA, I don’t feel empathy for everyone who voted for Trump or didn’t vote at all because eQuAl SiDeS bAd. Project 2025 and deportation plans were known before the elections so you brought this down on yourself. It really sucks for everyone else though, within USA and its (former) allied countries.
