As a cishet male, I’m actually curious about this, myself! I was super emotional as a kid, but in my mid to late teens I virtually lost the ability to cry. Instead, my “sad” or “stressed” emotions would come out as frustration or anger. Now, my son is in his teens and he’s going through the same thing, where he’s realizing he can’t cry like he used to.
