72·2 years agoBut it’s not spyware. The eIDAS law proposes that governments can insert certificates that spoof the originator. A subtle difference.

No, that was different. eIDAS is certificate based - those that care will just use a VPN to download a non-EU compliant browser build and only surf with the VPN on. At least that’s my plan.

Story has been debunked. It’s a theoretical paper that was misinterpreted by a journalist

22·2 years agoPersonally, I’d expect it to be fine. There’s not a lot of CPU usage for those apps. The only part I see it potentially struggling is the file transfer (WiFi on the Zero W or Ethernet-over-USB).
Might be better to get a Pi 3b with Ethernet on board

We have them in Spain. Really useful as my accountant has a copy of mine for my tax filing on their windows machines and I have it installed on my Linux laptop for interfacing with gov sites
