This was the main source of data they collected, which was 90+%…and mainly from google and apple…both of which are not ISPs.

Because VPNs are advertised as anonymous privacy, for people geo blocked or needing to avoid dmcas with torrents. It’s literally not in the best interest of the ISP to keep the logs, because A) Storage requirements and B) dealing with legal issues. Don’t keep it and you don’t have to worry about either of those unless you get a court order and are required to collect the logs.

ISPs aren’t keeping logs on what you go to. They could if a court told them to, but the amount of storage required to keep a tab on ever customer and what they’re visiting is insane. Most companies don’t even attempt this with their own networks because of the storage requirements.

I don’t want to fund some rich fucks bailout or failed gambling banks or business, I don’t want to fund our military to blow up fishing boats and murder civilians overseas or used to deport and lock up my fellow Americans.
