I picked up a leg infection this past week bad enough that I’ve had a wound dressing and been on bed rest a lot. So bored!

Started of with a fever too so I can sympathise with that awful feeling.

Yay, borderlands! I think it’s been my favourite franchise for a solid decade now and Borderlands 2 certainly swallowed a huge portion of my life and honestly still does to some degree.

The series has had some gems and some less than great content but the gameplay loop has always been very satisfying!

I quite liked the maps myself and the story whilst perhaps a little to obvious was fun.

My biggest problem was the enemy/mission level scaling which found you falling behind the main story mission quite easily making for some either very tough fights or some less than thrilling side quest farming.

Oh and how long it took to unlock weapon slots 3 & 4. Such a slog!

Where to start? 😅

Short version: been sick in various forms for the last 4 years with leg infections, epididymitis, covid and awful fatigue. Finally got an answer this past week of low testosterone. GP is unhelpful - won’t refer me to endocrinology or urology because things will just go back to normal if I lose weight.

Long version? Eh, on request. Typing on my phone is awful.

How can random folk on the Internet help? I’ve no idea! Is anyone knows how to brow beat the NHS GP service into actually caring about their patients is love to know the secrets.

Bring back proper defending going into corners - no more of this stupid one defensive move and then just let the other driver sail past. Make them work for it.

Oh and single lap hotlap for qualifying with the order drawn by lottery. Stop them complaining about traffic.

A collection of text documents in various formats on a shared drive on my home network. When I want to cook one of them I simply print it out and work from today in the kitchen. Doesn’t matter if it gets wet/messy/damaged that way.

Assuming it survives I use the reverse side to write a shopping list next time I go shopping.
