  • With Canada so obsessed with keeping vehicle manufacturing jobs to the detriment of every Canadian not wanting to buy American cars. Why does Canada drop the Chinese tarrifs but demand certain assembly and manufacturing of Chinese vehicles happen in Canada?

Sounds like a win win, but they are too stuck on the idea they should only manufacture cars from incumbent companies that are stuck in the past. Canada has significant geological resources like lithium and rare earth metals is an even better reason to be excited about EV production in Canada.

  • This isn’t an endorsement for Pierre, but treating this as an controversy is misleading and ingenuine.

The leader of the opposition literally told Pierre to stay there. I watched this interview live when parliament resumed in May:

“Given that Mr. Poilievre hopes to be re-elected as a Member of Parliament in a few months and Prime Minister Carney promised to hold the byelection quickly, it would be more costly to taxpayers to move the family out and then right back into the residence,” Scheer said in a statement to CBC News."

Given the treasure trove of criticisms to bring to light about Pierre Pollieve’s policies, this obfuscates the importance of the real issues and makes people who oppose Pierre look foolish at best.

  • I wonder if there are other ways pfas might be circulated out of the bloodstream and back into the digestive system to be collected by this microfauna.

One of the ways oats and oatmeal reduce the amount of cholesterol in your body is by binding to the cholesterol in bile so it’s excreted instead of being re-absorbed. So the cholesterol could already be in the bloodstream, converted into bile, then excretes with the oats once it’s combined. This clearly has multiple essential organs helping the process, but still, a mechanism like this could still make a difference over time.

I listened to a story from an ER surgeon. He says the hardest part about crash victims with dogs loose in the car is when their dogs bones fuse with the owners and it’s near impossible tell the difference between the two to separate them. It’s difficult because if they don’t get it all, the body will reject the accidental cross species bone grafting.

Including the high likelihood of ejecting a dog out of the car, this inspired me to get my dog a car harness.

  • True, at least when you share the results with others, the energy used is shared between everyone.

Sometimes I see these videos and want to know what they talk about but don’t want to throw away hours of my life listening to them. And this is the only way I get both.

I’d really like to self host something like this so I can see how much power it’s using.
