Fountain Pens@wayfarershaven.eu•Do you still write notes with pen and paper?English
4·2 年前At the beginning of every workday I write a to-do list on paper with pen and cross the items out as soon as I’m done with them. I also take notes on paper when I read and review papers, it helps me retain the information better. My phone and my computer screen are often the main source of distraction for me and my notebook helps me keep the focus on the task.
Beautiful pen! Sorry to hear it didn’t work for you.

Fountain Pens@wayfarershaven.eu•NPD and NID: TWSBI mini, Diamine Memory LaneEnglish
1·2 年前I find it quite difficult to use, to my great surprise! I’ve recently written a long letter with it and every top of the page it behaved well, wrote smoothly, great line variation. Then by the bottom of every page it would start scratching and skipping. Clearly I somehow must be rotating the pen as I move my hand down the lines but it must be tiny movements because I don’t see any difference myself! Anyway, the stub is much less tolerant to changing angles and rotation compared to a regular round nib.

1·2 年前It looks great! I’ve got a PGS and I have not noticed anything remotely similar to that famous feedback :-) Mine just writes.

2·2 年前Congratulations! Beautiful set.
I think it looks similar: https://imgur.com/a/afZteve :-) no idea how they would look next to each other.
It looks like Platinum 3776 Celluloid. At least mine is. It’s made of celluloid and smells nicely (of camphor).

2·2 年前No worries, I found it, it was set to undetermined and now it’s set to English. Unfortunately this didn’t help. I’m posting this from a different app (Mlem) which doesn’t seem to care about the language setting.

1·2 年前This has happened to me as well, I cannot comment in one of the communities anymore. I tried to change the language in the settings on my account, no effect. Right now I’ve uninstalled Memmy and I’m using a different IPhone app to post.
I’ve got the pen in the middle and I find sniffing the inside of the barrel extremely satisfying :-)

2·2 年前Yes of course. So far my workaround was to post from the computer (not using Memmy).

4·2 年前Yes it is the language thing, I cancelled posting and thus managed to catch the pop up that says “you aren’t allowed to post in this language”. For some reason I can reply here but not in the other community.

Yes you definitely have a problem, you need more sparks and shimmery shimmers in your collection!
