With Home Assistant you can do custom wake words. Can also do wake words to talk to chatgpt or different languages. Does take some configuration

Technology@beehaw.org•OpenAI board in discussions with Sam Altman to return as CEO
1·2 年前I mean I was being sarcastic. He’s gonna be just fine. He will live better than 95% of the population. He was the head of a company valued at 50+ billion. This guy is not being paid less than 300k. Him being fired isn’t going to change his life style in any dramatic fashion like it would an average person.

2·2 年前I mean the guy was easily making gobs of money. I don’t think he needs anymore money. Did he make less than others? Maybe. But he wasn’t at the bread bank looking for handouts.
I disagree. It compiles answers in a nice easy place with no ads. Change an int to a string using c# and 9 times out of 10 I’m in and out. I can feed it my code and it corrects it. Is it perfect? Nope but it beats being berated by experts

Uhh. Have you seen men in black? /s
haha. Part of the reason I like Linus is he does impractical expensive things but still votes for competition and knows what the average Joe/Jane budget is. The alternative video of the cheapest laptop is a good show that he can see both sides.

1·2 年前I would argue the instance still gets indexed by Google and if it was around I could Google search for the result.

30·2 年前It’s not about visiting a forum post I made in 2007. It’s about visiting a forum post about an obscure issue that someone solved in 2007.

141·2 年前I see this as a big issue for content going forward. I get that reddit is one single point of failure but I wonder how you can keep knowledge in a static state when most instances lose money and it’s a hobby. What happens when the owner grows tired.

1·2 年前Bazaar has an option to download based on things not in sonarr or radarr so you can use it with base Plex.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's the best advice you can give someone starting job in tech industry?English
6·2 年前Be hard-working but loyalty will take you almost no where. Every 2 years you should start looking for a new job with better pay and less hats. If you are a year in and hate it just switch to somewhere new. I got 2% raises at jobs year to year but switching jobs for me got 20% - 40% more.

As for trakt isn’t that what you want? If you haven’t watched it and it’s on your watch list why filter things out?
