  • To hell with Microslop.

People need to have some dignity. When an OS becomes an ant-privacy ad serving platform first and foremost, it’s time to ditch it!

My newest computer came with Windows 11. I ran it for a few weeks and wiped it and installed Bazzite Linux. I have had virtually no issues and honestly it’s been a fantastic experience.

I do have an older laptop running Win 10 for a handful of programs that I haven’t figured out how to get to work under Linux yet, but it’s just a matter of time.

  • I don’t like being under constant surveillance from my neighbors doorbell cameras. This is one of many excellent reasons why.

What I am going to do is use MapComplete to start labeling every house that I come across that has one of these doorbells.

Then I’ll post some QR codes around town that link to the map.

Once people start seeing their homes called out on a map then perhaps some of them will feel uncomfortable with that and start to understand just why privacy matters.

  • I would have to go with the Panzer Dragoon trilogy on the Sega Saturn.

While the first title was, at its basics, a fairly simple on rails shooter it was more than the sum of its parts.

It had incredible art direction, a sweeping musical score, innovative world building and rock solid gameplay.

The second title built up on the first installment in every way to solidify it as one of the best titles of that generation.

Then came Panzer Dragoon Saga which evolved the series into a full blown JRPG that is still so unique and unlike anything else out there.

Team Andromeda’s passion, dedication and innovation ensured each game was a new benchmark for Segas black box.

What I wouldn’t do for a new installment by the original team.

  • Well… SNK had released a few installments of King of Fighters by the time Fighters Megamix was released, but other than that, yeah.

Sega definitely beat Smash Brothers and other titles to the punch.

I agree. They should have stuck with their ideas for several installments. Sega has way too many one-off games that are fantastic and deserve sequels.

  • I sure hope so.

I can somewhat understand a company putting Denuvo in a new game until they recoup costs, I still won’t buy it until then, but I can understand the logic.

Having said that, I feel it should be a priority to remove it once they have got their money back.

Like a dragon is several years old by now and they have games even older that still have denuvo…
