Oh, I know all about using blankets as pillows when there aren’t enough pillows around. And sometimes when there are.

I agree that Wisconsin’s rare example is very inspiring.
The secret is many pillows. Many different pillows of many different shapes and densities and materials. Different fillings. And then, you have to experiment by placing them all around you in ways that feel comfy. But once you find a comfy situation, you don’t give up then, oh no. You must keep rotating until you find the ideal situation.
It may turn out that you need more pillows. But that’s just how it goes.
This is mostly just sad.
Main character from The Darkness that Comes Before/The Prince of Nothing series by R. Scott Bakker. Liked the character, liked the name, loved the books.

I can’t tell if you’re being honest or screwing with me.
Ah yes. “Encouraging the various militant proxy groups they support to ‘not antagonize the US’ in order to avoid further conflict” while simultaneously sending munitions to proxy groups Iran. That one.

I am not saying it’s okay. In fact, in the comment you replied to, I said I don’t approve.
We need laws to prevent this sort of action.
I am a woman and I will make nests out of pillows at every given opportunity.

Also didn’t say that. I was simply pointing out a fallacy somebody else made.

The whole phrase ‘bypassing Congress’ is propaganda. It’s literal weapons sales. Those are not required to go through Congress. I disagree with those sales, but what he’s doing is perfectly legal and not backhanded.

One of the other people who responded to her literally accused her of supporting genocide because she’s focused on her queer daughter in the comment they replied to and not on Palestine.

It’s not a Dem bill; it’s a bipartisan bill. It was the Democrats compromising in order to save Ukraine.
And your last paragraph is just disgusting. No one’s using you as a shield here. And no one is ‘appropriating her queerness’.
Do you have any idea what you’re even going on about? You seem to feel pretty strongly about it while not knowing what you’re talking about. That or you’re just buying into some sort of propaganda without thinking about it, which I guess amounts to the same.

One of my closest friends moved to Tennessee right before his adolescent daughter came out as queer a few years back. I feel so bad for that kid. Her family is supportive of her, at least, but what a nightmare place to have to live as a gay kid.

No, I don’t think either will work at all.

Ah. Can’t say I’ve seen it so I wasn’t aware.
OP admitting to not teaching their kid how to do dishes.
