Untrue. I complain about my bugs all the time.
It took a year and a half for me to escape one of those. It’s a mistake I’ve never repeated (yet).

I’m just imagining Edward Cohen from Twilight and he similarly sparkles in the sunlight.

With that point I could possibly see the justification for charging non-Ohioans (I think that’s what they’re called) but not residents. Just because I can see the justification in that doesn’t mean I agree with it though.

The article has been updated:
the suspect allegedly got out of the truck wielding an assault rifle and opened fire on police officers, law enforcement officials briefed on the incident told ABC News. Officers returned fire, killing the suspect who was not immediately identified, sources said.

I don’t think any reasonable person is blaming the workers. In my experience the employers do two things:
This is definitely an employer abuse problem, not a candidate problem.
I wish it was that easy, but mine slides vertically rather than flipping out so there’s nothing blocking it from opening. It seems to be the internal mechanism that isn’t doing its job.

Who’s got time for that? ROFL
Unfortunately the little door on my dishwasher sticks and won’t open 99% of the time so I have no choice but to chuck the pod in the bottom. It sucks, but my dishwasher works well in every other way and my dishes are clean enough so I’m not spending money on a new one until some other part of it breaks.

While there are obvious benefits to bringing skilled workers into the US, people are divided on the issue because those workers are often paid less than US workers, putting negative pressure on compensation, especially in the tech industry, on top of the moral questions about holding visas over the heads of foreign workers.
This is a good summary of H-1B issues. I don’t think they’re bad in principle since bringing in talent is great for the economy, but in practice they can be abused and push down wages of American workers.

I guess I could do the math of average income and average debt to figure out the percentage, but that table doesn’t “literally” show it. Also, I meant a visualization. When dealing with 50 states and DC it’s easier to quickly see the disparities than sorting and scrolling a table.

It’d be interesting to see the debt as a percentage of average income for each state. I bet that’d make Alaska look even worse than it already looks.

We had a law. The Citizens United ruling by the Supreme Court invalidated it saying the First Amendment takes precedence so we’d need another Amendment limiting speech in politics, which is complicated. I believe we already have laws about foreign money in politics, but we have extremely weak enforcement for it (and weak enforcement of other political laws in general). If we made stronger laws requiring PACs to report where all of their funding came from the current Supreme Court would likely knock it down saying anonymous speech is also protected by the First Amendment.
New bottom paint? This really isn’t a big deal. If your other bottom paint looks good then just do a little sanding (with a respirator, obviously) and paint that section. If your whole bottom needs painting then sand the whole bottom with 80 grit (spending a little more time on the chipped sections) and then repaint. The 80 grit leaves scratches (keys) for the new paint to lock onto.
If you know what kind of bottom paint is on it then find a compatible bottom paint (they’re not universally compatible). If you don’t know then find one with the most compatibility across paints. What you don’t want to do unless unavoidable is to need to sand down to gel coat because that’s a lot of work.
I don’t understand. What’s apparently so heinous about Lutheran charities?
