True, but everyone would have the same disadvantage while having the safety of full Wets and the track would clear faster, it’s nonsense letting the teams determine when to switch from full Wets to intermediates if safety is really your main priority

Full Wets should be mandated for all teams in these conditions for a set # of laps. That would eliminate the teams gamesmanship, increase safety and avoid the embarrassing red flags. F1 is so poorly run.
