    I’m so upset we can’t mange to just put the sticker price on things (including taxes and shipping and employee labour).

      California restaurants have this same problem. It only did one thing, kept me from eating at restaurants. It was so infuriating to get the bill and have some BS fee added that I just stopped going out.

        Pretty sure one of the basic assumptions of capitalism that the consumers understand the costs of things so they can price discriminate effectively. US can’t even do capitalism right smh

          Agree with you there.

          Hopefully the smaller establishments I frequent will take my advice into consideration. Just raise the food and drink price by whatever % they’d tack on. Transparency gives a better experience.
