I sure as shit would not go.
I don’t even know if they’d let me in or ship me off to prison in El Salvador.
Well no shit
I’m honestly surprised that it’s only down 4.2% - if you take into account that international travel was up 4% for the rest of the world, the spread seems more in line with what I’d expect (i.e., 8.2% off from where we would be under a more sane government).
I’m honestly surprised that it’s only down 4.2%
There was a thread on a Bargins deals site here in Australia the other day for cheap-ish fares to Florida. Overwhelmingly people were saying awesome deal, a few commentors were castigated for asking people not to travel to the US. Most thought it was perfectly fine and would be a great family trip.
Lot of faacist adject citizens in Australia, as seen in the rise of our “Maga” (Make Australia Great Again) politcans in One Nation.
I am sure 100 years ago they would have been fine with having a picnic in the park beside Auswitz because it was cheap entry and a bargain. No this is not comparing current day America to Nazi Germany but an allegory to make a point.
Please do compare. There’s no way not to.
I was reading Disney’s recent financial report. In it they mentioned that they hadn’t seen a huge shift in international travel, as many people plan international travel far out (many months to year+). So basically international travel will have a lag effect and they mentioned that they were targeting more domestic bookings to try to offset expected drops in international travelers.
So, if it’s down 4.2% already, it’s likely that number will continue to grow.
It creates consolidation of power and markets.
And that’s not a good thing.
That’s the plan for NewMaralago, formerly known as Palestine or something, I don’t remember. Lord orange only let’s us remember to go work.
