• They can be trained though? But they should never be left off leash or with access to a child. I’d say that’s true for any dog though. I think the main problem is the average pet owner isn’t able to train any animal and having an untrained meat missile will always have this kind of outcome.

      I’m all for banning breads, but that should happen at the breeding. If they’re brought into this world, neuter and train them.

      The dog was running around in public with no lead, so yes, it’s literally the owner’s fault this happened.

        Nobody cares though. Had a pitbull aneek up on my dog well camping. Fortunately he is very fluffy and wasn’t hurt to bad. But the park wardens could not care less as the people packed up and ran away.

        Sure, I’ll concede that it’s the owners’ fault, absolutely. But how many peoples’ deaths do we need to determine that many people can’t be trusted to own pitbulls responsibly?

        People are proving that they aren’t going to become good dog owners. Therefore, the only way to prevent deaths is to ban pitbulls.
