The rot in our political elite really took off after Bush II invited back the faction who’d been labelled “the crazies” when they served under his dad’s rule.

The last chance to stop it was pursuing and jailing him, his cabinet and their allies for their many war crimes and open corruption. Once obama effectively pardoned all the bush era criminals with his “looking forward not backwards” policy, it was game over for the rule of law.

Obama made it clear that elites could get away with anything they wanted, and here we are.
