Idk, I think this isnt in their jurisdiction since it doesn’t have an effect on profits.

This allowance could definitely damage their public image if they let it slide, either by letting them get away with it and showing others that it is okay to use their music without permission or by negative association with an organization their customers may not support.

Plus, it isn’t some helpless individual who can’t fight back. Edit: If they did anything, I’m sure they could earn back some serious good will.

Going after this might effect their profits and possibly even relations with Japan. So they won’t do it.

        They’re Capitalist cowards.

Cyberpunk (the genre) typically has corps being the enemies, disposing of people in the name of profit. It really seemed like that was where we were going to end up since most people just assumed that corps were crueler than people. Then fascism came out swinging, and evidently a lot of people are really gleeful about making innocent people suffer.

Disgusting. People thinking some people aren’t humans and can be treated as trash is the same kind of scum who are given a minimal amount of power and immediately they start torturing and abusing their prisoners / victims. (Nothing new here, reminds me a bit of the war crimes the army committed 20 years ago in Iraq, and even then they snapped pictures for social media. Maybe that’s next.)

Time to contact Nintendo and say you aren’t buying their products anymore because of this. That will surely get their legal team interested
