Yea, laws are made up. So is currency, boarders, sovereignty, human rights, and democracy. Made up things are consequential.
Exacly this, all of pur societally functioning things are based on our exceptance of enforcing rules upon purselves. Without laws, you can’t have human rights.
Laws are created to keep peasants in check. While the people who created the laws break all of them.
They keep claiming all immigrants are dangerous criminals, while not being at all concerned that a dangerous criminal is in charge of the government
The immigrants are a scapegoat. “They are the source of your problems not us the government”. This tactic is nothing new. Some immigrants are indeed gang members but it’s a small percentage. Honestly though I think people are obsessed with Trump on a positive and negative perspective. This is also working great at keeping the population focused on themselves as the enemy instead of the corrupt government. The same gov that was corrupt during Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump, and biden. I’m hoping the American people get this soon or they are done for
I think it’ll take a collapse of America and complete restructuring of the government to fix things
I agree, only because the American people are weak (although ironically aggressive) people. They have contempt for their government but they listen to them wholeheartly - with complaints here and there of course. I actually hope the collapse is sooner than later. This has gone on for long enough
Absolutely and that is what makes what Trump is doing so fucking dangerous. He is actively undermining the US government, once the vast majority of people no longer believe in the government it wont be.
Well yeah. Everything we do in society from laws to customs to fads are just made up things we go with. Thats what makes religious folks to tend toward nuttiness as it can often go down the path of. So and so rule came from GOD!!!
There are laws. We made them up.
Congratulations, you have discovered the starting point of anarchist philosophy. Please, read further. It’s good stuff.
