I’ve had a similar issue with my deceased father’s personal data all over the internet - without his signature/credit card/ID, I can’t delete it or sign him up for a service that will regularly request data deletion on his behalf. Even though the rest of us in the family keep deleting our data (using services such as Optery), we keep being linked to his data listings whenever we’re relisted.
@[email protected] Have you tried EasyOptOuts? Full disclosure they do sponsor the podcast, but I seem to recall signing my wife up for them without actually needing anything from her (I did get her consent and double-checked the data with her, for the record, but I don’t recall it requiring signature or ID or anything like that).
