I wouldn’t exactly call it an MMO? I mean I get it for marketing purposes, sure, but it feels more like Valheim or so to me?
I really enjoy the Dune universe but I’ll never get this because of Tencent
I’m still sitting on the fence on this one. On one hand I love the Dune universe but on the other I’m not crazy about survival games and melee combat doesn’t look great.
Melee is actually pretty fun with the bene gesserit skills. You can tie multiple movement skills together to zip around a room killing enemies with super speed
Waiting for the post launch overpriced pay to win microtansactions. After they establish a player base of course

60 hours in and loving it. Enemies get much harder further in. I find the lore excellent as a Dune fan. Graphics are great and gameplay is fun and challenging, every thing feels like a constant threat and achieving anything is rewarding.
It’s funny in hindsight because before this game released there were so many armchair analysts saying it would be dead on arrival. Good for them.
