    @[email protected] The Gemini app has been disabled in my newest phone since I got it. They obviously can’t turn it back on.

    @[email protected] Thank goodness for custom ROMs and #Grapheneos This feel gut wrenching to me only because I feel sorry for everyone who doesn’t have the knowledge to install something other than stock Google Android.

      @[email protected] There’s also a way to disable it in the settings, but it’s very deep and it still stores the data for 72 hours.

    @[email protected] So now “no” just means “maybe later” to Google? 🚩 If Gemini can slide into your calls and texts without real opt-out, that’s not an assistant—it’s an overreaching roommate.
