I think many of us have forgotten that Harper signed an agreement with the US in 2012 (that took effect on January 17, 2025) where “… the automated exchange of biographical and biometric information on permanent residents of both Canada and the United States” is now shared.
Bill C-2 is simply part 2 of Harper’s continued bullshit legacy that continues to haunt us years later.
