I’ve read that they apply the fiscal year, from Nov to Oct. But I am not sure, I am not an usanian.
meanwhile, in the wealthiest country on the world…

But we certainly could get rid of a few of them

That is what I said, near light travel, not FTL. Ansible comms where instantaneous (speed of thought iirc), but not when the veasels/ships where in-transit, as they needed to “buffer” the communications somehow, in form of recorded messages. That is why Ender’s journeys took thousands of years, where only a lifetime for his siblings on earth.

Ender’s sagas adresses not only near light speed travel, but also the relativity on communications between the traveling veasels and “stationary” posts via the ansible

I see Canada, Mexico, and a number of countries in Central and South America that operating in the same time zones as the USA benefiting.
I’ve just been contacted by one, and they went with “you can work on whatever timezone you like, as long as you can have some overlaping time with the usa”.
Thanks, but I’ll pass on this one
Q: do you know what lies between fear and sex? A: fünf

Have a word. If you put forward a powerful point, you would still have access to them. Whether the outlook is bleak or not, depends on your legacy as a parent. But typically they’d move where the project or opportunity lies. No point trying to window them in.
Hey msguy, you excel at product placement /jk

“I could shoot somebody and I wouldn’t loose any voters”
I mean, he was telling it upfront

Am I still on time to participate? I’ve just got back from the summer siesta

There is no spoon

I do tech support on a global company, and some customers have started to demand their cases not to be readable for our usa based colleagues, nor the shared info hosted on usa clouds. So that wall is somewhat already there.

and spitoon
I have an Slimbook Zero, and I am quite happy with it (not a laptop). I have had an Schenker Via Pro for more than 5 years now, and it is still going strong. The support has been awesome, a couple years ago I asked about where to get a battery replacement, as mine had bulged. They sent me a new one (I was already out of standard warranty period), at no cost!
Edit: little to none support if you use linux, but still recommending them.

Let me run a few barf-gpt prompts until I find one that can refute your remarks and show you how those datacentres will have no environmental impacts at all.

Let’s make it profitable as well!
