I need to replay Bastion. One of my all-time favorites, for sure.

I don’t really understand why it needs to be in Xitter format aside from creating initial confusion. Using a picture+speechbubble format with Gates and Torvalds has 99% of the same energy, minus the misdirection. It’s not like Torvalds has used Xitter in the last decade.

Not a movie, but RATM is my favorite example of this. Or the Punisher.

They didn’t claim the windows version was run through proton by default. They said that some linux versions do not play well with cross-OS multiplayer, and thus the windows version must be run for said functionality.

I remember in ARK you would periodically shit a sphere. I forget what it can be used for though. It is definitely a game mechanic :)

There are still a few use cases… mainly price. A 4TB 2.5" HDD can be had for less than a bottom-of-the-barrel 2TB NVME.

But I would definitely hesitate to bring spinning drives on a bumpy ride.

I was just reflecting on the comment that I was responding to, which was specifying that a broken clock may be running fast or slow, instead of being stopped.

Frozen blueberries are heavenly. If you rinse them with water and let them sit a few minutes, they sometimes develop a thin icy shell. Immaculate.

My microwave has a half minute add button, but it takes 2-3 seconds to accept another press of the same button. This condition is not true for any other button on microwave.

A broken clock, whether it ticks too fast or too slow, is still right at least once every 24 hours, I think.

The only exception would be one that ticks correctly but is not set to the right time (does this count as broken?)

You would probably want a wired mouse for this one… maybe it could work like a bungee?

But if their argument is that you can simply ignore mods you disagree with, then those individuals should stop brigading against and whining about, say, a mod that enables queer relationships. As their own arguments imply, they can simply ignore those mods.

They should really pick a side instead of cherrypicking what’s convenient for them.

Welp. Almost all of the conversations I’ve read about this change have devolved into “hopefully the new owners don’t enforce their political views.”

They always say shit like “if you don’t like a mod, don’t use it,” but they can’t wrap their heads around the idea that if they can’t tolerate the (ex-)site owner exercising his own moral beliefs, they can find a different platform.

Are you halfway through the base game or the DLC? I am halfway through the base game, but this is my second run because I unfortunately started NG+ on my first save… The DLC is only accessible from the second-last chapter :(
