It’s both. They were just waiting for the thinnest of excuses.
I agree, it’s blatantly obvious that Kimmel was not canceled because of any Kirk comments since he didn’t really make any. That is, however, what the network claims they canceled him for. My bad for not highlighting that in the post, I’ll update it.
